Windows Win32k local privilege escalation vulnerability CVE-2021-1732
Vulnerability Description
On February 10, 2021, a local privilege escalation vulnerability in Microsoft’s monthly routine patch package was fixed in a Windows system that local attackers can exploit to elevate to system permissions, which is said to be used for targeted attack activities. The Red Raindrop Team of the Qi’an Information Threat Intelligence Center immediately followed up on the vulnerability and confirmed its availability. The corresponding exploitation procedures for the vulnerability have been made public and may be transformed to perform large-scale attacks, which has posed a real threat.
